Trainer authorisation and an individual certification are different records. Check current status and the exact course. Organisation certification, consulting experience and course attendance are not interchangeable credentials.
ENGAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
How we assign the work.
Scope agreed
Define the standard, legal entity, systems, services, locations, deliverables and exclusions.
Conflicts checked
Consider previous implementation work, reporting relationships and other threats to auditor objectivity.
Roles assigned
Confirm the engagement lead, specialist and auditor as needed. A different consultant can audit work implemented by another Aegentra consultant, subject to impartiality checks.
Evidence confirmed
Agree access, interviews, sampling, reporting and any separate quality review included in the scope.
Implementation, internal audit and certification are different responsibilities.
Internal auditors must not audit their own implementation work. Aegentra checks objectivity, impartiality and prior involvement before assigning an internal audit. A different Aegentra consultant may be suitable; the assignment is not automatic. An independent certification body performs the certification audit and makes its own decision.
Engagement lead
Confirms scope, responsibilities, communication and acceptance criteria. Harry provides principal-consultant oversight of the Govern practice.
Implementation specialist
Works on the agreed management system or technical deliverables. Practical consulting is distinct from official PECB teaching and from an independent certification audit.
Assigned internal auditor
Examines evidence against the agreed criteria. Suitability includes competence, availability and objectivity; previous involvement can prevent assignment.
Quality review
A separate reviewer checks the agreed output where the engagement includes that role. The proposal confirms the scope rather than implying every assignment includes every role.

Ask for the assigned trainer or consultant, the relevant current credential or course authorisation, the scope and expected outputs, your New Zealand time zone, and the commercial terms.
Self-Study materials and recorded PECB eLearning are not scheduled live classes. A course-plus-two-hour consultancy package is a separate practical option. Enterprise live online teaching is confirmed by enquiry; physical Academy classrooms are not offered.
